In Loving Memory of Bob Danczak
This is not a great photo, but it captures the essence of a truly remarkable man and mentor, Bob Danczak. I owe a profound debt of gratitude to him, one that extends far beyond mere words. Bob was not just a founder; he was the guiding force behind Danco Packaging Products, LLC, originally known as JC Danczak, Inc. He gave me, a young and eager newbie at the time, my very first official position as a graphic and web developer. He was the one who gifted me my honeymoon, shared his wisdom as my mentor, and ultimately, entrusted me with his company.
Bob laid the foundation for Danco Packaging Products in the late ’90s, and in 2001, I had the privilege of joining the team as a full-time employee. That decision was life-changing. While it’s true that Bob and I, like any two individuals, had our share of disagreements over the years, I always knew that he cared deeply about my well-being, my marriage, and the welfare of my kids. In essence, he became a cherished part of my family—a kind of Polish uncle I never had but deeply loved.
Yesterday, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Bob passed away. His legacy of mentorship, friendship, and entrepreneurship will forever leave an indelible mark on all of us who had the honor of knowing him. Rest in Peace, Bob. You will be dearly missed and eternally remembered by me, my children, and everyone whose life you touched.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his son, Christopher Danczak, the ‘C’ in JC Danczak, his wife Donna, and the entire Danczak family. In our collective grief, we find strength in the knowledge that his spirit and vision will continue to guide Danco Packaging Products, just as his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
With warm regards,
Samuel Mateo, Jr.
