Kapton Discs
Kapton discs are made from polyimide film with a silicone adhesive.
- Recommended for masking small areas on circuit boards.
- Polyimide discs are on a liner which is wound on a 3" core.
- Silicone adhesive will not leave any residue.
- High-temperature masking discs can withstand temperatures of up to 500 degrees F.
- Applications include: Masking circuit boards during wave soldering, powder coating, and automotive and transformer manufacturing.
